Feline eyes - Upon receiving the 'blessing' from the idol, Barbara's eyes were immediately changed. No longer brown, they were now a golden amber color, and the pupils will contract into feline-like slits when exposed to bright light, hence why she is often seen wearing sunglasses outside. Her eyes also allow her to see in the dark, on approximately the same level as an owl.
Enhanced Senses - Being a feline-hybrid she has enhanced senses, including smell and hearing. She can tell if someone is mind-controlled by a smell.
Powers yet to be discovered:
Cheetah Form - Barbara is able to transform into the Cheetah, an ancient enemy of man. Barbara is able to transform from her human form into the Cheetah at will, giving her the following powers:
Superhuman Strength - As an avatar of a god, Cheetah possesses great strength. Cheetah is strong enough to smash down trees when she throws someone with her tail.
Superhuman Durability - Cheetah's physical durability is enough to withstand blows from the likes of Wonder Woman and Superman. However, Cheetah's durability doesn't protect her from bullets, lasers, or other piercing attacks.
Superhuman Speed - Cheetah possesses great superhuman speed over short distances.
Superhuman Agility - Cheetah's body coordination is incredible able to tag very fast superheroes and super-heroines such as Wonder Woman.
Claws and Fangs - Cheetah's claws and fangs are enchanted and allow her to cut almost anything. Even the flesh of super-humanly durable metahumans offers little resistance.
Prehensile Tail - She can grab and choke her enemies with her tail. The power that her tail generates enables her to chop through trees.

Anthropology & Archaeology - Barbara has a very good grasp of human cultures and history, having received doctorates in those fields of study.
Polygot - Barbara is fluent in French, German, Greek, Latin, and is proficient in Swahili and Russian.

What's hidden behind the mask:
Personality: Barbara Minerva is a highly ambitious woman, despite her wealthy upbringing, or perhaps because of it. Granted, that upbringing also made her a rather selfish woman, making her believe that she deserved whatever she sets her sights on, no matter the cost. An heiress to a large fortune and estate, Barbara is not used to hearing the word 'no', and if she does, she doesn't take it as a form of denial, but rather a form of 'wait' or 'hold for a moment'. Once she sets her sight on something, she is the type to see it through, even if it means that it will be no easy task to complete.
Like with many moneyed people, Barbara thinks that money can buy anything. Men are greedy and will do anything for a buck. This tendency of getting what she wants can be seen as a form of neurosis because, when she doesn't reach her goal, Barbara has the characteristic tendency to lash out in anger, whether it be directed towards friends, family, or associates. She is an intelligent woman, being well read and educated in the finest schools, as well as being properly raised in cultured atmospheres, she would fit in at any high society function.
History: Born as the heiress of a vast fortune in the ancient family site in Nottinghamshire, Barbara had everything she could ever hope for at her fingertips, which included a vast library of books. At an early age, Barbara began to read about the adventures of wealthy and well-to-do women traveling to the far corners of the globe. Combining that with biographies from big game hunters and the stories of Kipling an Burroughs, she soon knew exactly what she wanted to do in life. Getting into the proper college and the programs she wanted was not a hard thing to do; after all, money and the family name provided quite the right amount of leverage. However, school was where she ran into her first set of roadblocks. It simply wasn't proper for women to go out into the wild and search for lost civilizations or study the cultures that were there. Office work and academical study was strongly pushed upon her as the healthy, feminine alternative. But, she was not about to listen to those recommendations. Instead, Barbara pursued her goals more fervently and with greater passion and determination and was eventually awarded doctorates in both archaeology and anthropology.
After being an assistant on more than a few digs an expeditions, Barbara discovered that the thrill of finding undiscovered thing was dramatically less of a fact than spending hours sifting through dirt and cataloguing pottery shards was. Figuring Which was perhaps why she decided to chase legends and myths rather than scientific facts. Using some of her money and whatever she earned by being a wildlife photographer and safari guide on the side, Barbara funded her own expedition and research teams, one of which eventually led her to search out a tribe in Africa that supposedly worshiped a female guardian with the powers of a cheetah. Why a cat native to the plains of Africa would be worshiped deep within the jungles, Barbara wasn't sure, and many in her team decided the story they were told was nothing more than that. Undeterred, she eventually found the site; an old, crumbling temple whose stones were slowly being swallowed by the jungle. Rather than waiting for the team to set up their equipment, Barbara ventured in alone. There, inside what was the central chamber, rested a small gold idol, wrapped in thick and thorny vines. They did not come off easily, and many of the thorns bloodied her hands and skin before Barbara managed to free the statue. It was an odd thing; on one side was the anthropomorphic form of a feline beast, and on the other was nothing but vines and jungle.
Before she could ponder it further, Barbara collapsed as a wave of dizziness and fever hit her. Her team found her unresponsive, clutching the idol. Knowing better than to risk their only sourcing of money, the expedition returned to civilization with Barbara, who was constantly in and out of consciousness the entirety of the trip. Perhaps it was due to whatever malady that had struck her, but she swore the figure on the statue would move and speak to her inside her head. Once back in the safety of England, Barbara discovered that she was changed. Her senses were sharper, able to hear and smell things other people were ignorant of. Even her eyes were affected. Once brown, they were now a golden amber color. Worst of all, in bright light, her pupils contract into slits like that of a cat. That was when the idol and the god it represented began appearing in her dreams, saying she had been marked as his. His chosen, his guardian, his wife.
