1. The Golden Rule. Please respect everyone. This includes members, guests, and staff. We don't want any trouble, so respecting one another is the most important rule to follow.
2. Before you can post anywhere in the RP sections you must have an avatar for your character, which can be either a real person or the comic book appearance, and your application must be approved by an admin. Applications need to be done within one week of joining the site. After being approved you have two weeks to make your first post.
3. Please keep in mind that we do have a character limit of typically five (5) characters per player. You can play less, but please do not apply for more than five. An exception can be made for some players under one condition; if the admin staff know that you can handle playing more than five and the characters you are playing will not be ignored simply in favor for having a larger amount of playable characters. On a related note, please do not pick up or drop characters repeatedly on a rapid and regular basis. It's annoying for both players and characters who might want to rp with your existing characters.
4. Put as much detail as possible into your posts. Include environment descriptions, actions, emotions, thoughts, etc. Please make sure your posts are at least 2-3 paragraphs. Short, one line responses are not allowed, as they do not allow for proper replies from other characters. We don't expect everyone to write novels, but please, try your best. That goes for spelling and grammar too. Please use spell check, a dictionary, or even Google if you don't know how to spell something, and feel free to read over your reply before posting. You never know what you may have accidentally left out.
5. Do not double post. If you forgot something in a previous post, add it to your next reply or, if no one's replied to yours, edit and add to your current post.
6. God-modding is not allowed. You are not allowed to take control of another member's character and have them act how you think would them to. You are also not allowed to kill or dismember another member's character unless they openly give you permission.
7. Member activity is important. Please try to post multiple times a week, at least 2-3 times a week. Feel free to post more if you're on a roll. If you are going away for an extended period of time, please let a staff member know.
8. Cursing is allowed but please keep it under control. Staff will edit your post if it goes too far. Romantic scenes in threads are fine as long as it remains PG-13 and does not go beyond that rating.
9. Age Restriction: You must be thirteen or older to join this forum due to it being stated in the rules & regulations of Proboards and the international COPPA laws.
10. PM's: Do Not advertise forums via Private message it is distracting, if you wish to advertise another forum use the advertising section provided! Also do not pm another member any sexual remarks or sexually related content.
