-Any blood that is not a part of a living creature in a ten foot radius to her can be manipulated. this manipulation works similarly to TK as she is able to make it defy gravity if she wishes it to.
-Her power can not effect the blood inside a living person or animal due to the limitations on the black magic Asha used to gain her power. However dead bodies are no issue, and she can drain a corpse until it is a shrivelled up husk.
-The blood she manipulates can be shifted into shapes she imagines, and at her command can be hardened into a crystal like substance that is like diamond in texture and durability, but not as capable at cutting other material.
-Crystallised blood is more then capable of piercing bone, wood and glass, but can not be used to cut through metal unless wielded by someone with super strength (which The Queen does not have.) She can also make her own blood from herself to cover her face and crystalize a mask to hide her identity. This usually is easiest for her through her eyes, giving the effect she weeps blood that becomes a mask made of red glass.

-skilled in both knife fighting, and knife throwing.
Weapons: Carries around a pearl handled Razor and a derringer pistol 45 410
What's hidden behind the mask:
Personality: The Queen is a true sociopath, she is utterly vain, completely selfish, and only ever values others in the extent to which she can use them for her own gains. While she will happily make friends with others, she never sees them as equals, only entertainment or pawns.
while a criminal and a super villain, The Queen has no interest in "taking over the world" or any such nonsense. She is motivated by her personal wealth and power, with everything being secondary to her own gain.
Asha is incapable of forming romantic attachments and derives no pleasure from physical contact/sex, but is happy to use those things if they will help her goals.
As she earned her powers through hard work, Asha has developed a distaste of mutants, and anyone who has acquired superpowers they did not earn. such as accidents or other peoples work.
As is the case for many people like her, Asha values fame, and while she will let others take credit for her achievements if it helps her in the long run, it is possibly the thing that angers or frustrates her the most to have others taking recognition she sees as being hers.
Asha has come to the conclusion that treating others poorly, while perfectly natural, will only ever breed resentment. as a result she hides her true feelings behind a mask, and goes out of her way to try and seem kind, reasonable and thoughtful. it is common for her to reward people she is a hairs breath from killing for incompetence, simply because doing so breeds a kind of loyalty violence and fear will not.
Asha is someone that admires culture and higher things, seeing it as proof of station and a way of making it clear of her own superiority.
History: Born in Athans, Asha's parents were hopeful for the things that all new parents want to see, that their daughter will be special and move on to good things. Yet as time passed it became clearer and clearer that there was something wrong with their child. As she got older and went through school, Asha was a textbook attention seeking problem child, always intent on being the focus of the room and acting out whenever she couldn't be. She was known for being horrible to other children if they did better then her in anything, ridiculing and bullying them as a way of venting her anger. The only thing that prevented her being kicked out was how often she was head of the class caused these outbursts to be limited in number. her constant obsession with being the best causing her to constantly study and try to stay on top.
In the neighbourhood where she lived things were often the same. the older she got the more common it was to see her trying to twist other kids into joining what amounted to her personal gang. They did not do much, they loitered, hung around menacingly, but for Asha it was enough to know that she had a sense of being the most intimidating kid in the area. Her relationship with her Parents was strained at the best of times as they tried and failed to give some kind of moral compass to their daughter while she would just angrily resent the fact she was being talked down to with such stupid ideas like she should stop bullying the younger children.
as soon as she reached adulthood, Asha moved to another part of the country, to a small town in the north. Thereupon she found it almost insultingly easy to seduce and marry the mayor. he was not attractive in the least, a bold, middle aged man developing a large gut, so simply counted his lucky stars to discover a beautiful young woman that was able to convince him she was in love with him.
in reality Asha was incapable of love, and found him a weak willed, incompetent buffoon who had gotten the job simply because he had inherited the steel mill most families in the town relied on for keeping food on the table.
within a year, Asha had things exactly how she'd always dreamed of. The townsfolk saw her as the sweet young girl who would take their problems seriously and help convince their boss to do things if she could. Her husband saw her as the one that kept smoothing over relations and prevented strikes, protests or the election of anyone else to the position. whenever bad things happened to the townsfolk, they'd find her teary eyed and apologising she wasn't able to convince him this time. When the townsfolk got a victory, no matter how minor, she was able to convince her husband it was a necessary evil they had been left with no choice but to cave to. With a system of nothing ever being her fault in the eyes of anyone, Asha proceeded to just do whatever she wanted as long as it let her keep up the charade. The fact she had to sleep with a man she cared nothing for was so small a price it was laughable, as the particular interests of the flesh had never mattered to her. it was just more acting to be part of the act.
Like most people in Europe. World War 2 was somewhat of an inconvenience for her.
In all honesty, Asha could not care less what the Nazi's were doing. None of it affected her so it didn't really exist to her in any real sense. people she didn't know were killing other people she didn't know. of course Greece was invaded eventually, and her town was no exception. Asha was more then happy to just let them take over, there was always going to be a government and laws that were enforced. She wasn't part of any of the groups being rounded up so it wouldn't actually affect her.
it turned out her husband was a moron. when the Nazi's came to his door to demand he help make sure no one in the town thought resisting was a good idea he seemed to think taking the pistol he owned and threatening multiple armed soldiers would achieve anything.
It took Asha several hours to remember to pretend to be upset that her husband had been shot in front of her. people that saw her acting normally mostly just chalked it up to "the poor thing going into shock."
with no more ability to control or manipulate anyone. Asha was left with the choice of what to do next. She still owned the mill and wasn't going to run out of money any time soon, since she was happy to sign contracts selling the steel to the German war program and they were happy to have someone in occupied land not trying to give them trouble over it. but as time went on Asha realised an important truth. Relying on others for power led only to loosing power. She had ran the town through marrying the Mayor and his own actions had taken that from her. there had been nothing she could do about it.
For power to mean anything, it had to be earned by her, for her, and the world had to understand the only way to take it was through her.
From there, Asha pumped almost every penny she could get her hands on into the aim of acquiring power no one could take from her. Mutants existed, proving what had been thought of as human limits meant nothing. but they were unworthy. having done nothing to earn or deserve it. they disgusted her for getting such power out of nothing. Captain America was another such interesting case. but she was not a scientist and unlikely to catch lightning in a bottle through such means. but the thing that struck Asha was that when science fails there is another possibility. Magic existed. it was there in the legends of seemingly every culture. Like dragons, which were clearly the explanation for the bones of dinosaurs. it only made sense if magic was real. And then there was the man that had taken over Latveria. the one known as Doom. who had shown proof that magic was something real. something to be found and mastered.
so she would find any opportunity to get around the country. Even during war time it was possible for one person making money to get from place to place, as the fighting had not really overtaken Greece just yet. Anywhere she thought might hold a clue she went, looking for anything that would make her more then herself. most of the things she bought were worthless, fakes, scrawling's of the ignorant, and the like. but after years of still trying she found something in a museum in Thessaloniki. a strange tiara made of onyx which legend held had belonged to a powerful enchantress hundreds of years ago. So she went off to read any text talking about said legands, and in the end came to the conclusion that the act of willingly spilling her own blood onto the thing would do.... something. the accounts were wildly conflicting but all of them agreed the previous owner had been so powerful Hercules himself had been the only one that could defeat her.
All things being equal, and when you don't actually intend to steal the object in question, it is remarkably easy to break display glass. Asha simply waited for no one to be paying attention on a slow day and punched the glass twice. guards came running, and found a young woman upset and apologising for "tripping" and hitting her hand on the display. saying she was so so sorry for how she got blood on something that old.... not seeing anything wrong with that they told her to just be more careful in future and offered to help her go to the first aid station. She insisted it wasn't that deep and just went to the bathroom to wash it and use some towels.
Once alone Asha felt ready to kill someone in frustration that nothing had happened. and locked herself in one of the cubicles to calm down. what she hadn't known was that she had needed to wait for the blood to dry. and despite the museum staff wiping the tiara down, they missed just enough for it to work.
Asha experienced what was close to a seizure, and collapsed into unconsciousness for several hours.
when she awoke, her entire body was bone white, her hair and every inch of her skin, was bone white. her eyes were pitch black. and she was aware of every drop of blood in her body, able to feel it becoming to her, waiting to be controlled. it had worked, and Asha laughed in glee until another woman using the restroom went to inform the staff there was a crazy lady in there.
Asha correctly thought any of the staff that remembered the girl that cut herself and had suddenly changed in appearance so much would be able to put two and two together. the only way for no one else to get the same powers as her was if no one who knew her before hand ever saw her again. she could simply insist it was a skin condition that caused her to look as she did.
So as the woman put her hand on the door knob, Asha raised her hand and instinctively caused blood to seep from her fingertips. At a thought, the drops flew through the air like a bullet, hardening into pointed crystals as they flew and striking the woman in the back of the neck, killing her.
And as soon as she was dead, Asha was aware of her blood as well. able to control it. like crystalizing the woman's blood into tendrils and use them to drag the body into a stall, lock it, and clean itself from the floor leaving the place seemingly spotless.
Asha had already left the city by the time the body was found.
with what little money Asha had she hopped around the country. a pretty young girl alone and able to act the part of seeming terrified for her life, got herself plenty of free lifts and very rarely did she have to resort to violence or her powers to get where she was going. It was obvious to her now that she had the potential to do whatever she wanted. but Europe was descending further and further into war, and that was inconvenient.
Much like her dear departed husband, it hadn't exactly been hard to find a boat captain happy to take a pretty young girl with him when she was happy to give him romantic affection as payment. And a few months, and a few stops and starts from one port to another, later she had found herself in New York, determined that now she was here, it would be hers.
naturally, she didn't think for a moment she could just use her powers to do whatever she wanted and expect that to work. So she decided on two different plans.
The first, and easiest, was to make a go of climbing the social ranks. having spent most of the time on her travels learning the limitations of her powers, she had already realised the shapes she could make were limited only by the amount of blood she had access to and her own imagination. so after doing her bit to help with New Yorks rat problem, several different art gallery's were happy to host detailed "sculptures" of shining red ruby from a new and unknown artist who was all smiles and secrets about how she achieved such works of art.
The second, and far more important to her, was he ability to seize power. if you were rich enough, had enough connections and people wanting what you could give them? the law meant nothing, what others thought meant nothing, she could be The Queen. This would be a reality, she promised herself this with a determination she'd never felt in her life before. this was a purpose. a goal. she had been missing it ever since achieving her powers and now she realised just how terrible it was to be bored.
So she used the little money she made selling art to buy a gun, and the gun to rob people. her powers would for now only draw more attention then she needed. That money she used to buy drinks in crappy bars and listen in and talk to get an ear for how the state of the city's underworld was.
the two names that came up over and over were "Fisk." and "Cade." so the obvious step was to take what they had. Even if that meant making friends with people that used to work for them and convincing them she was a better option. a display of her powers, listening to them talk and acting like she really cared, promising to treat them better then either of those crime lords ever had. it wasn't hard to make them agree that for now, it was worth following after her as long as the money was as good as she promised it'd be.
it wasn't hard to get away with crimes if all she needed was to make four or five people happy with their take. small stores, bar robberies. twice she personally found drug dealers at the end of a night and got everything they earned. laughing at their threats that this was their bosses territory all the while.
managing to get enough money together to acquire ownership of a rundown butchery that delivered meat across the city was the latest step. her men got legitimate jobs with genuine pay checks at the end of each month kept them happy, as she was still making plans, and the raw meat gave her a near unlimited source of blood as long as she played it smart and didn't damage the products. so now, living above it, and sitting on a ruby throne she has painstakingly made from the blood of more then a dozen sides of beef, Asha plots on how to take over New York.
