Immortality, moonbeam has no need for food or water. Warm and cold temperatures has little to no effect upon her. Been dead has had the effect of her not needing oxygen and abilities to be immune to toxic environments.

Regenerative Healing Factor: No matter the damage taken, even if stripped down to the bones her body will reconstruct at the molecular level and it will do this from a few hours to a month max depending on damage plus how much of her dismembered parts are with her.

Fingernails can be extend to half a foot with ease to use as a weapon.

Limb Reanimation: Even if a limb is dismember she can still control those parts of the body.

Can make people believe they are seeing ghosts of their dead.

Personality: Second thing you'll notice about her is her honesty and directness. Having died she understands the need to live life to the moment and not dwell on the little things. She avoids watching people eat and drink as it reminds her of what she misses.

At the end of the day Moonbeam is trying to find a meaning in her life and a reason to why she is still around. Emotional side of things she is finding herself having to rebuild herself up mentally from the loss of her planned life and left also with questions to what she is.

History: Moonbeam was born to a mother and father who wanted to live off the land away from the modern world. As a sign of their new life they name there child after a beam of light that shined through the window on the night of her birth. She attended the local backwater school, which started her on a track towards a career in acting from a simple school plays. From a simple play she was biting by the acting bug and when a moving picture came to town she was hooked. Her father and mother banned her from attending the moving pictures when they arrived to town but where's there's a will there's a way. It was a friend at school that showed her how to snick in to watch a movies for free. The more movies Moonbeam saw the more she craved the fame. As she grew older, there was little her parents could do to stop her and when she reach sixteen there was little that could be done to stop her. The idea of staying to run a farm was not to her taste, it never had been and never would. First thing first she changed was her name to Sarah.
With no money to her name Moonbeam traveled to New York City to make a career for herself. First thing she did was to find a job and after much determination she found a job at a small dinner. Upon getting a job the next she done was to attended any castings that be could found no matter what the role. Her break came in to theater as an extra when the lead actress with half the cast came down with food poisoning, like a good actress she learned the lead actress lines just in case.
Moonbeam was ready for her moment and for three nights she got that break as the lead. A week later she was approached by a movie director and her path to been a movie star was on track. For a short period her life seemed to be going the right way and soon she was living the life of her dream in Hollywood California.
Moonbeam had her own house and fans at her feet. As a young and uprising star she had men to choose from. But the one she fell for was a Tony Banks and soon they were engaged to be married. To her it was love at first sight and he was the man of her dreams till one fateful night.
Returning home early from the studio, Moonbeam planned to surprise Tony with dates she had set for the marriage. As she entered her home, a trail of clothes containing female underwear lead her up the marble stairs and to their bedroom. To her shock and horror she found Tony in bed with a woman seen as a friend. Alice the woman in question was Tony's Co star and Moonbeam's best friend since coming to California. Tony upon see Moonbeam jumped out of the bed all the while shouting at her for push him away and forcing him to have to sleep with other women. Out of rage Moonbeam promised that she'd tell Alice's husband the son to a well known director about the affair. Alice cried and pleaded for Moonbeam to not tell her husband about the affair but Tony had other plans. His career held on Moonbeam keeping quiet, as she turned to leave Tony grabbed a metal candle holder and hit Moonbeam across the cheek. Moonbeam hit the wall hard but remained on her feet as she knocked a lit candle over on a table, not wanting to wait around she made a dash for the stairs unaware how close Tony was and that the candle was starting a fire. His hand gripped hard to her blouse ripping it off as he swung the lamp hitting her upon the head which sent her rolling down the stairs. As she rolled down the stairs a blood trail followed her down with every step until she lay there choking on her own blood on the last step. Tony rapped his hands around her neck and choked what little life she had left. At that moment her mutant powers became active.

By the time Moonbeam awoke a month had passed, her skin was an tint of green and white. Her hair had lost its health glow and was now a dull white grey. She found herself dumped out in the desert in a shallow grave. Upon returning to the city, it wasn't long before she came across a paper stating her funeral had been held. The paper stated she had died in her sleel while a fire rage and her friend Alice still classed as missing.
Moonbeam's death meant all her assets had gone to Tony who had proclaimed to the court with false papers they had a secret marriage a week before. She could only gather it had been Alice's body who had been in the fire and this had let Tony benefit from Moonbeam's death. Disposing her body was a need to hide the murder he had committed.
That first night she returned back to life, she paid Tony a visit and as he slept. She suffocated him with his own pillow.

Since then Moonbeam has dropped any name she had and wanders America unaware she is a mutant looking for meaning from adventure to simple helping out in hope of washing away the guilt of murdering Tony.
